i just finished building this 4 pc 6wt. test cast it yesterday with both a 6 wt and 7 wt line. It certainly appears to be a true 6wt. Very accurate and surprisingly light for its length. The blanks are perfect and a nice green unpreserved wrap looks good. This will be my main streamer and nymphing rod for the bigger rivers in Maine and out west.

Just fished this fantastic rod. Using a Teeny t-200 and an orvis G-3 6WF, as the other review stated this is a true 6 wt rod. I am NOT a great caster but felt like one with this rod. If I cast 40 ft accurately i'm feeling good, but I threw 60 from the start with the orvis on this rod. this IS my new favorite. Will get back with some CCS numbers shortly, mike.
